Magnesium Chloride Application
Grade the surface prior to application, wet the road until almost puddle like, then apply our End Dust™ Magnesium Chloride Flake onto the wet road surface with any type of a spreader or thrower. That’s it! And DON’T ADD WATER after application! More info here.
2 totes per km, 4-6 meters wide, or 1.5 totes per mile, 15-17’ wide. We recommend first time users to apply the flakes more thickly, making the roadway as white as snow. Yes, but don’t go too deep into the soil.
We don’t recommend this as you would have to play around in getting the right concentration. A basic formula has been suggested mixing 20% by weight or 80kg into 350L of water. You must then agitate and circulate prior to spraying.
It depends on the traffic conditions on the road. Under normal conditions, only 1 application of End Dust™ Magnesium Chloride Flake is needed. With heavier traffic, 2 applications are recommended during the year.
